What is on leather jackets are so cool on a motorcycle? Is it the elegant look they are just cruising the streets? Is it the style that seems so difficult cowboy? Or are they are great practice for cycling?

In fact, it's probably a little of all these elements. The leather has a old reputation as cowboys, bad boys and tough. When you see the hero or villain in the leather, the leather is making a statement which own.

And they just look cool. You can count on people turning their heads as you cruise by on your bike ride especially when you are Leather. The look and reputation of the combination of leather and motorcycles probably got all his brilliance from old films of James Dean and the days of Arthur "The Fonz Fonzarelli.

But there is the practical reason for leather on motorcycles. If you're unlucky enough to have an accident on your bike, you not the advantage of a framework that protects you like a car or truck has. The leather is not as strong as metal, but it's decent work protect your fragile and easily torn skin.

Metal would be better, but if you surrounded your bike with metal too, it ceases to be the motorcycle to enjoy the freedom you want. And it would look pretty silly if it was metal. While we all look like ladies and knights in armor and we would still lose the feeling of air fanning our cruises without feeling.

It's really pretty cool. What began as a measure of protection has turned into a definition of style and freshness. Ride on!
